Livestreaming of Future Board Meetings Coming Soon
To keep residents better connected, Trustees agreed on Sept. 14 to livestream future Board meetings when they are able to meet in person again. Board members noted the need for a long-term solution for making meetings accessible online to better connect the Township with the community.
Livestreaming will be available through the Township’s YouTube page. The first livestream will take place when Board members resume meeting in person. A link will be posted on plainfieldmi.org in advance.
Since March, most Township meetings have been held through online videoconferencing due to the pandemic, allowing residents to view and participate in public comment periods remotely. The new proposed livestream option would allow residents to view the meeting but not provide any opportunity to participate, which would still require in-person attendance.
